How much does camp cost?
Camp is free! We ask campers to provide a $50 deposit when accepted to hold their place. Deposits will be returned the week of camp.

Both ExploreAg camp sessions are fully funded through the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation.

Where will campers stay?
Both ExploreAg camp sessions will be held on campuses of The Ohio State University and campers will stay in dorms on campus. The camp in Columbus will be held on the main OSU campus. The camp in Wooster will be on the campus of the OSU Agricultural Technical Institute.

What will campers need to bring?
OSU dorms will be full outfitted with bedding and towels. Campers will need to bring enough clothes and toiletries,along with any other personal items, they would need for the week. Campers will have free WiFi in the dorms and are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to use to complete evening assignments. Computers will be available for those who do not bring one.

Will my child be supervised? Who will be working with them and teaching them?
ExploreAg has selected awesome counselors who are fully trained and are current college students in the fields of agriculture sciences to lead students in their camp experience. Counselors will be with the campers at all times during the day and in the evenings in the dorms for support.

Camp organizers from the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation, and other partner organizations, will also accompany students on all field trips, lab activities, and will be available in the dorms in the evenings for support.

All counselors and staff will be required to pass full background checks in accordance with Ohio State policy.
